Teaching & Learning Part 1 Course For Individuals

Course overview

The course exceeds the regulatory requirements of Part 1 Teaching and Learning and prepares a future instructor who wish to become a MCC instructor, TRI or SFI. It also includes exposure to simulator flying instruction on a generic twin jet simulator.

The course covers multiple aspects of training skills and extends beyond the basic syllabus to cover those advanced topics that any airline training department would expect future training staff to experience. This includes crew resource management (CRM) debriefing techniques, analysis of crew behavior (utilizing the non-technical skills framework or the client airline’s own approved behavioral markers framework), report writing and debriefing ‘challenging’ trainees.
